Individual Therapy

I offer one-on-one counselling online using Microsoft Teams with the camera on and in person counselling. This therapy can address a wide range of potential problems you may have or be an avenue to work on self-improvement. I work with all types of abuse, chronic illnesses/pain, social problems, depression, anxiety and grief.

Child and Teen Therapy

Teens older than 13 can have therapy online. Children below the age of 13 will need to have face to face counselling for it to be effective and helpful. I offer these services at schools or in an office. All teens and children under the age of 18 require signed consent from both their parents.

Employee Wellness

Employee counselling and wellness is important as it can help improve the employees overall wellbeing resulting in a happier employee. Counselling can also provide help in stress management leading to more effective and efficient work. I offer one-on-one counselling for employees. I can help address any work related issues such as stress and personal issues such as trauma and self-confidence.

Trauma is an event that a person has witnessed or experiences which is very distressing to the individual. After experiencing a trauma the person may struggle with flashbacks to the event, be triggered by sounds, words or places that may have even the slightest link to the trauma. The person will struggle with nightmares, lack of sleep, mood swings, fear and panic amongst other symptoms. There are many types of traumas that impact everyone differently. What is a traumatic event for one person may not be a traumatic event for another. I help to process the event, help the client decide on the best course of action if the trauma is ongoing or just be present with my client and provide a safe space for them.
